Project Connect is a pre-arraignment program offered by the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, for those with misdemeanor criminal charges. The program aims to compassionately enforce treatment for alcohol and substance misuse and co-occurring mental health disorders in lieu of traditional justice system procedure. RCDAO has partnered with law enforcement and the recovery support community to continue to bridge the gap between the criminal justice system and community agencies and organizations in an effort to mitigate the impact of criminal charges for those struggling with substance misuse and its components.
